These diapers are very, very good. They are comfy when dry, they get super thick and cozy when wet, and the way they make you waddle gets me right into headspace. Dada and I both love these, they are so adorable.
The outside material is a decently thick plastic, much less flexible then diapers I'm used to, but it's not bad. The interior material though, is perfect. When you are dry, it feels like you are sitting in a fluffy pillow. With proper fit it's nothing but good feeling. Once you wet though, it stays soft, and gets very thick and squishy, so it still feels great. (if you like the feeling of a wet diaper that is :p)
They can also just hold anything I throw at it. The back of the package says 12h protection, and girl they are not kidding. I can realistically only use 2 per day unless I need to mess.
The only problem I've found is that when it gets super soggy it's prone to press leaks. That's annoying, but it's also difficult to design around when a diaper gets this thick, so I don't fault tykables for that. A waterproof cover is a good solution.
The only way I would improve them is adding a yellow-blue line wetness indicator, but honestly, the diaper itself shows off your accidents pretty well anyway with how much it swells, as my CG can attest 🥺
The tapes also hold up to constant walking and even a bit of running, but it will chafe if you walk without a wide waddle for long periods of time because of how wide the cut is, they friction of the plastic, and how inflexible it is.
It's not really one I would want to wear to work, but this is great for baby time, because it forces you to waddle or crawl to stay comfortable, emphasizing that you're just a little kiddo 🫣
Overall, these are adorable, quality, amazing for regression time or age play alike, but not that great for work because of the plastic material. It really forces you to waddle to stay comfy, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
Well done Tykables, you've earned a customer with this level of quality.
